OUR JOURNEY

We’ve been established for nearly a decade, and for certain we’ve achieved success in the past, as well as countless accreditations and certifications. While we’re only as good as the here and now it’s our journey that has brought us here and we can’t wait for the next ten years to unfold.  

2012

Founded

The Professional Fundraiser is founded, starting with Cats Protection who we still work with today.

2013

The First Thread

We attend our first ever exhibition, the Spring Knitting & Stitching Show – we still go every year, as well as to over 500 other events.

2014

Our Backbone

We begin to develop our own IT and build an all-singing, all-dancing fundraising management system.

2015

Cat Sponsorship

We go from strength to strength, continuing to provide outstanding results for Cats Protection with their new sponsorship product.

2016

Data Assured

We move to our second home, in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and after a lot of hard work achieve the ISO 27001 Data Security Accreditation.

2017

Lottery Services

We add another string to our bow and expertise with prize-led giving. Never resting on our laurels, we achieve the ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environment standards.

2018

Big Leaps

A busy year – with new senior appointments and, after months of hard work, a massive contract win, with The Royal British Legion.

2019

Move to Church Farm

We move to the beautiful Church Farm in Astwick and win new contracts with Cancer Research UK, the NSPCC and the PDSA.

2020

Brand Transformation

The country goes into lockdown but The Professional Fundraiser continues to evolve its service offering with the launch of direct and digital fundraising.
